CHF 15'500 .-
A rare and exceptionally well-documented Patek Philippe Calatrava reference 3574 in stainless steel, offered with an outstanding and highly complete provenance. Originally sold by Gübelin in Lucerne on June 13th, 1977, the watch comes with its original box, original papers, original sales invoice, export documents, and a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives issued in 2025. The original invoice shows a purchase price of CHF 1,620, and the watch was originally acquired by a Japanese tourist before being exported to Japan, with the export paperwork still preserved within the set. The Extract from the Archives confirms the production of the watch in 1972 and its subsequent sale in 1977, providing an unusually complete historical record spanning more than five decades. The case has been recently polished and presents in excellent overall condition. The beautiful original silver Sigma dialis preserved in perfect condition, with matching hands and excellent overall originality. The manually wound movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and is running perfectly. The watch is fitted with a black Patek Philippe crocodile strap and a white gold Calatrava-style Patek Philippe buckle, both added later in the watch's life. With its rare stainless steel case, remarkable provenance, original invoice, export papers, archive extract, and complete original accessories, this is an exceptional collector's example of a vintage Patek Philippe Calatrava and a set that would be extremely difficult to replicate today.
