A magnificent Patek Philippe Chronograph reference 5070P, crafted in platinum and dating to 2009, offered as a complete full set with its original box, warranty papers, booklets, and accessories. Originally sold new in Hong Kong, this highly desirable example is further accompanied by the original transparent plastic delivery box in which it was supplied new, as well as its original white serial-number hang tag, rarely preserved together. The platinum case appears to have never been polished and remains in excellent overall condition, showing only light signs of careful wear consistent with a watch dating from 2009. The elegant proportions of the reference are beautifully preserved, highlighting one of the most celebrated manually wound chronographs ever produced by Patek Philippe. The striking blue dial is preserved in flawless condition and is complemented by perfectly matching hands. Its clean, perfectly balanced layout, combined with the weight and discreet luxury of the platinum case, makes the 5070P one of the most coveted versions of the legendary 5070 family. The watch is fitted with a very good original blue Patek Philippe alligator strap, secured by its original platinum deployant clasp. Powered by the renowned manually wound calibre CH 27-70, based on the legendary Lemania 2310 architecture and extensively reworked and finished by Patek Philippe, the movement is regarded as one of the finest traditional chronograph calibres ever fitted to a modern wristwatch. There is no known service history; however, the watch is running perfectly.
