A beautiful Rolex Daytona reference 16518 in 18k yellow gold, dating to 1995 and coming directly from the original owner. Offered with the set shown in the pictures, this example represents one of the most attractive configurations of the Zenith-powered Daytona generation. The case has been polished in the past and remains in excellent overall condition, showing only light wear from use. The yellow gold bezel is also excellent, retaining strong definition with minor signs of wear consistent with careful ownership. The watch features its original white tritium dial with the desirable “inverted 6” hour marker configuration. The dial is preserved in excellent condition and the original tritium hands match perfectly, creating a beautiful and coherent appearance throughout. The caseback bears the engraving "Florian 20 ans 13-1-1995", a period engraving that reflects the personal history of the watch and its original ownership. There is no known service history, however the watch is in perfect working condition. Combining original ownership, a sought-after inverted 6 tritium dial, full set provenance, and the legendary Zenith-powered caliber, this is a highly attractive example of the reference 16518 and an increasingly collectible modern Daytona.
