A beautiful example of the Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar reference 5039J in 18k yellow gold, originally sold new by The Hour Glass in Singapore in 2005 and accompanied by its original box and papers. The case is in excellent overall condition, having been lightly polished in the past and showing only very light wear from use. The distinctive Clous de Paris hobnail bezel remains particularly well defined and beautifully preserved, retaining the elegant character of this iconic reference. The original silver dial is flawless, complemented by perfectly matching hands, all in superb condition. The watch is fitted with its original Patek Philippe alligator strap in approximately 70% condition and its original 18k yellow gold deployant clasp. Inside is the renowned ultra-thin automatic calibre 240 Q with micro-rotor, whose timekeeping performance has been checked by our watchmaker. The watch is accompanied by its original Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin and presentation box. Please note that the additional solid gold caseback, corrector stylus and outer cardboard box are missing, while the leather interior of the presentation box has deteriorated, as commonly seen with Patek Philippe boxes from this period. A particularly attractive and well-preserved example of the reference 5039J, combining the elegance of the Clous de Paris bezel with the timeless appeal of Patek Philippe's legendary perpetual calendar complication.
